How Tria Points Season 2 Works
XP, multipliers, and progression explained
This guide explains the mechanics behind Tria Points Season 2. It covers where XP comes from, how multipliers are calculated, and how different actions affect progression through the season.
Season 2 follows a single principle. XP comes from real usage. Efficiency comes from your multiplier.
Where XP comes from in Season 2
XP is generated from six areas, grouped into two categories.
Flat XP is awarded at fixed amounts and is not multiplied.
Usage XP is earned through product usage and may be multiplied depending on the action.
Flat XP (not multiplied)
These actions award fixed XP and help users get started or stay active. Multiplier is not applied to these actions.
Account (DID) creation, KYC completion, first wallet top up, first card top up, first futures trade, first earn investment, daily check in, mobile app download, card booking and upgrades, and referral bonuses all award a flat amount of XP.
These actions provide early momentum but are not sufficient on their own to reach higher tiers.
Usage XP
This is where most progression happens.
Card spend
XP from spend is calculated as dollars spent multiplied by your Total Multiplier at the time of the transaction.
Only real card transactions are eligible. Wallet top ups, ATM withdrawals, cash equivalents, and obvious off ramp behavior do not earn XP. This is identical to Season 1.
Futures XP
XP from futures follows the same structure as spend and trade.
- Base XP is calculated as trading volume divided by 10.
- Final XP equals base XP multiplied by your Total Multiplier at the time of the trade.
Only eligible, fee generating trades count toward XP.
Earn XP (not multiplied)
Earn XP rewards users who maintain balances over time.
- XP is based on time weighted average balance.
- XP is awarded in checkpoints.
- Each checkpoint can only be earned once per window.
Earn XP is not multiplied.
This design prevents short term farming and rewards sustained participation.
XP from Earn will be applied retroactively in Season 2 based on activity since the launch of the Earn product.
How multipliers work in Season 2
Your Total Multiplier determines how much XP you earn from spend and trading.
Your Total Multiplier has four separate components.
- Card Multiplier
- Loyalty Multiplier from Season 1
- Tria Badge Multiplier
- Season 2 Membership Referral Multiplier
Each component contributes independently. Together, they form your Total Multiplier.
Your Total Multiplier applies only to spend and trading XP. It does not apply to Earn XP or flat XP actions.
Card Multiplier
Your Card Multiplier depends on your highest active card tier. Card multiplier applies as long as your membership is active (even if card was booked in a previous season).
- Virtual card → +1x
- Plastic card → +2x
- Metal card → +3x
If you upgrade your card during the season, your Card Multiplier increases from that point forward. Previously earned XP is not recalculated.
Loyalty Multiplier (Season 1 carry over)
Season 1 performance sets a fixed Loyalty Multiplier for all of Season 2.
- Level 5 or higher → +1x
- Level 7 or higher → +2x
- Level 10 or higher → +3x
- Ace Society → +4x
Only one Loyalty Multiplier applies, based on your highest Season 1 milestone.

Referral Membership Multiplier
Referrals have two effects.
- When a new user signs up through your link, you earn flat XP.
- When a referred user completes KYC, books a card, and makes their first purchase, you earn a flat XP bonus and +1x added to your Total Multiplier for the rest of Season 2.
Referrals count towards the multiplier in the season they occurred. There is no hard cap on card activated referrals in Season 2.
Levels, tiers, and rewards
Your total Season 2 XP determines your level, your prestige tier, and your share of the Season 2 reward pool.
Prestige tiers remain Jack’s Circle, Queen’s Guard, King’s Court, and Ace Society.
Higher tiers represent stronger performance across the season and unlock a larger share of rewards and potential future benefits.
Fair play and guardrails
To protect real users and healthy activity, wash trading or artificial volume may be excluded. Earn XP uses time weighted balances to prevent abuse. Referral manipulation or fake accounts may be removed.
Final reward allocation prioritizes authentic, long term usage.
